Darren Mackintosh is the CEO of College of Australian Training based at Palm Beach in Queensland.

College of Australian Training is one of Australia’s leading privately owned Registered Training Organisations (R.T.O) with and is recognised nationally and internationally as a competitive education and training institution.

The College delivers vocational training & education in the Hospitality and Hairdressing industries for both domestic and overseas students.

College of Australian Training also delivers training and education to apprentices and trainees, Government funded participants, and public and industry participants on a fee for service basis. Furthermore, the College also provides education to international students through to Advanced Diploma courses via exporting education to countries such as China, India, South America and the Middle East.

Darren has been involved in private Vocational Education and Training for the past 15 years, and has founded and led some of the most successful training companies across Australia.

Darren is also a member and/or holds positions in the Creek to Creek Chamber of Commerce, Gold Coast Tourism Bureau, Tourism Training Queensland, Australian Council for Private Education and Training (ACPET), Commerce Queensland, the Gold Coast Education and Training Network and the M.C.C (Melbourne Cricket Club).

Philip Willsallen

Philip Willsallen is the manager of Melaleuca Station Memorial Gardens.  Philip has been a funeral director for 20 years.

Philip moved from Sydney to the coast almost a decade ago primarily for the health of his wife. Born in Cootamundra and educated at Moss Vale and Parramatta, Philip spent 20 years in the transport industry prior to his vocation change. 

Philip’s role at Melaleuca Station is to make sure families are given the best advice and service at their time of greatest need. Community education and support are a priority for Melaleuca Station and this role is pursued very strongly by the company. Melaleuca Station Memorial Gardens is located at Chinderah in Northern NSW.
